We sought refuge from the blistering summer heat in this restaurant, only because we just needed a break. But what a brilliant choice it was! Lots of tables, inside and out. Excellent people/traffic watching. Professional and very polite waitstaff. Great menu, inventive and tasty dishes....More

If you're in the area, this is the place to go. Very good pastries, great coffee and hot chocolate, friendly service, great atmosphere. What more could you want from a Viennese cafe?

This was the first cafe I went to in Vienna, it was good! I got espresso with whipped cream on top and it was really good! I also got some toast for breakfast which was good too.

While in Austria recently, I decided to search out the best apple strudel in every city we went, just because that’s one of the many food items they are famous for. At lunch at Do & Co at the Albertina museum, I was really disappointed...More

Good place to taste the desserts. Apple strudel and sacher dessert were great. Coffee and English breackfast tea were good too.

Heard that this place had the best apple strudel in town so we had to try it. The restaurant is very cute with a nice outdoor area. However, we didn't think the strudel was any better than others we had tried in town...just more expensive....More

Great ice cream landtmann house brand. Super big American size. Coup sachertorte. Chocolate and apricot. If it is landtmann it can't be wrong. It also happens to have a novelist Franz Schuh reading his literatures.

I think it's best to ask when you arrive but I think they might be able to do it upon request.

Description
Café Museum has been a location frequented by many geniuses of the 20th century.Since its inauguration in 1899 it has been a meeting point for painters, writers, composers and architects. Mid 2010 the Café Museum was taken over by Berndt and Irmgard Querfeld. The importance of a high level comfort is something the Querfeld family have always been very aware of and therefore they have decided to restore the original Zotti design back to its original glory.
