I was meeting some English friends who stayed near the Museum Quarters and I looked for a place to take them to, that had traditional Austrian food plus some alternatives. A friend who lives in the Burggasse recommended it and I am glad she did. The place looks like a Beisel and the menu is terrific. I had the most... More

Stumbled across the Boheme while wandering the Christmas market stalls at Spittelberg and delighted we did. Small, intimate, romantic restaurant with nice festive touches. Typical Austrian menu and we both went with 3 course set menu (Poachers and Game) costing €26. The food presentation and quality was excellent. Beautifully cooked meats of deer, wild boar, duck etc. Tasted amazing. Staff... More

The restaurant ambience was rustic. The food and service pleasant without leaving any lasting impression of being truly wonderful. Austrian basic fare would be a good description. The service was prompt friendly and efficient. Would I describe the meal as one of the better onesI have had in this part of the world - well no. However, for the price... More

Regrettably, I did not pay enough attention to our server as she was saying that they did not have the cept dishes they usually have in season; I am sad I embarrassed her by trying to order them when she came back! I switched out of German immediately to avoid further embarrassment; and our server couldn't have been more gracious... More

This little restaurant is just off Burggasse and close to Volkstheater metro station. It is in a quietish side street off the main drag and has a pleasant terrace and inviting looking inner room. Like a previous reviewer we found this place having been rather rudely sent on our way at a neighbouring eating place, and were very pleased we... More

We came across this restaurant after the one we chose was full. I can't say we are sorry .. the service was fabulous and the food very good. We are so pleased to have found it and would recommend it, and loved La Boheme playing in the background.

Spittelberg is a pretty hot location in Vienna. This restaurant is located in a pedestrian street, but a bit too close to a main road. Their food was pretty good and it was quite nice to sit outside.
