Visiting 'il asino' again the pleasure of their very good food remained the same, I guess among the best Italian restaurants in Vienna. Whether having starters from the rich antipasti buffet, pizzae, pasta, main dishes or desserts it is always enjoyable. Sitting outside means sitting along the street, but inside is more convenient. It's just a place to come back... More

I ended up in this restaurant just by mistake. Then we went back because the food was delicious! The service was also very attentive without being annoying. I loved the tagliata di manzo served with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar! It was perfectly cooked and big portions too! Definitely a place to go back to :) The Tiramisu was the... More

I always liked the location of this restaurant: they do a fabulous pizza, and have a modest wine list.

Intended to go to the Italian next door but mistakingly went in. Friendly service and food was delicious, fresh and hot. The decor was ok and food and drink reasonably priced. Not fancy but good food at a reasonable price with quick, friendly service.

Went in here by mistake thinking it was the Italian restaurant next door. It was very average - the food wasn't bad (pizza was better than the pasta.) The wine was good and the service friendly but overall not a memorable experience.

We had a late leisurely lunch after a busy morning sightseeing. staff were cordial and helpful. The menu is varied enough and what we had was great. Wine selection was good as well. Not accepting Credit cards may prove inconvenient.

Great pizza. This is a bit off the main square but easy to find. The salads were also very good. Did not see many tourists, but if you do not speak German or Italian, no worries the menu has English. Very good service as well. Only caveat, cash only.

We stopped here for lunch. Our waiter was lovely and friendly. We all had different pizzas and all of them were delicious. We thought it was very reasonable in price as well.

We stumbled into this restaurant by accident and were very impressed. The service and the food was fantastic. My risotto was not as creamy as I'm used to and that's the only reason for not a perfect score. My companions loved their meals though.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
