I visited this restaurant twice, eating on the patio for lunch, and the non-smoking private room for dinner. I had their weinerschnitzel, which was a little above average. There beer selection was a little above average. The prices were average. It is in walking distance from the D-Tram, Haubaunhoff Oste, and other bus runs. Right near the 21er Modern Museum... More

We ordered two meals from the vegetarian page of the menu, but one of them came laced with ham. We were told this was the recipe when we took it back, but they were friendly about it and replaced it with no hassle, just an advisory review that it shouldn't be on the vegetarian page when it has ham in!... We are very glad we went to this restaurant in our very first day in Vienna. The restaurant setting is very pleasant. When we entered into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff. The food was tasty with generous portions. The nutspancakes is especially good! What we enjoyed most is the lovely waitor, who was always attentative and... More

We were hungry after spending three hours in the museum and since this was in the same historic building, we decided "Why Not?" So glad we did! At first glance, you might expect another dusty old, disheveled European wine cellar turned trendy restaurant. This isn't the case. The restaurant is brightly lit, tastefully decorated, and clean, white linen table cloths.... More

This was my favorite restaurant on our recent trip to Vienna. Great house beer, great service, excellent food and the setting itself is wonderful. My family thought the food was very good (and they can be picky!). Absolutely worth a visit, and you should be going to the military museum anyway, so go ahead and have lunch or dinner or... More

Visiting the HGM takes all day so a lunch break is welcome at the closest restaurant (the inside cafetaria was out of everything past 12am). Wiener Schnitzel is really good, crusty and light (with veal at 19.90€), the meal of the day at 5.10€ offers large portion and very good taste. Although, can't recommend the Apfelstrudel as it was micro-wave reheated... More

We went to this restaurant after visiting the museum of military history. The place is very nice and old-time looking and warmed by majolica stoves making the atmosphere very wellcoming above if outdoor there is a strong blowing cold wind. The waiter bartender...really a one man band was very kind and even if was alone he was also quick. Dishes... More

We had lunch here after visiting the military history museum (which you should see if you are in Vienna). It is located in the same complex as the museum. The food was good and very filling. The local beer recommended by the waiter was excellent. All this was also very reasonably priced. Definitely eat here if you go to the... More
