This place has a selection of 3-4 dishes each day, combined with soup that you can have for lunch for a reallz good price. We had pumpkin potage and it was really delicious! It warmes you up on a rainy november day. Place is also nice to come just for a coffee with friends, nothing to pretentious

It is not really french cafe/ bistro, but food is pretty good. They serve few types of burgers, crepes. I heard that brunches are not bad as well

I've been to Pierre a couple of times, for brunch and for a snack, and found the brunch quite nice but if you are searching for french food you'll be disapointed: the crêpes are not really good, the crème brûlée has not much to do with one and the quiche are "austrianised". The Eclairs on the other hand are quite... More

Wanted to have breakfast, arrived there and got a nice table. The waitress brought the menu and we were going to decide what to eat. Then another waiter came, asked for our reservations and as we had none he told us to leave, because the restaurant was fully booked. He had a printed list, but there was nowhere a sign... More

Reasonably priced Brunch and ample amounts of food but not really what I would call up to the French standard. I did not really expect to see Schnitzel on the table! The dishes could have been presented a little better; it would have been also nice to have a few signs stating what the food actually was. For example, we... More

Nice schnitzel with French fries and good coffee they served there for us. Didn't expect really to have a good meal there, but as soon as I tasted the meal, I adored it.

Stopped for lunch but the lunch choices were not very French-oriented, more mid class International. The daily special was not bad value though. Overall didn't quite live up to expectations. Didn't like the fact you had to walk through the smoking area to reach the loos. Why can't smoking be banned entirely in restaurants?

Nice place for brunch- clean, staff well organized. The food was great, but I would recommend better deserts. All in all- a nice place to have Sunday brunch with friends,

A very nice buffet is served every day from 10 to 15:00 with abundant food. Good cakes and lovely athmosphere. The decor reminds french cafes. The cafe is close to the flea market and the food market and to Mariahilfer street.

Thank lny

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
