This is in my neighborhood, so I go here all the time. Love it especially on Saturday with the flea market taking place across the street. Great people watching outside. Food is very tasty- fresh ingredients and well spiced. Good selection of wine. Friendly service. Very affordable prices.

Fast paced waitresses serving an eclectic menu of food like you would not believe it. My husband had coconut chicken curry, that was a bit too spicy for him, our friend a roasted turkey leg, I had fish (with skin) and chips, our other friend had lamb chops. The menu offered quite an array of mysteries dishes no-one ever heard... More

This is by far the best chinese restaurant I have tried in Vienna. The food is good and it is not too expensive. The portion is too big for me but may be just nice for others.

I've tried many dim sum places, but this was the first time I tried dim sum in Vienna. Chinazentrum was actually good. The place is across from the Naschmarket (open food market) and it appeared to be very popular among the Asian community. It was crowded when we arrived, but the food didn't take long to be served. The good... More

Nothing fancy, nothing imperial, nothing frustrating. I guess that is all I need to say about this place. Come in and grab a quick bit, and then pay leave.

The name sounds that they must be great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is soso and the food was just Ok. The soup was too salty and the mapu tofu had nothing to do with how mapu tofu should taste. Service was just OK, but also not as how it should be. The location is easy to reach by subway.... More

I went to have dinner and the total bill came up to 11.40 euros. I paid with a 20 euro bill and the rest with coins so I could get back a 10 euro bill. The waitress took the money and went behind the bar. Then I asked about my change and she said I gave her a 10 euro... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
