The Meinl am Graben is a very nice shop in the heart of Vienna. I would recommend particular the restaurant on the first floor.

In a few words, If you like "cuisine creative", this is a great place. I had the menu de degustation with 5 dishes. All was very good, perhaps the beef was a bit tuff. The aspargus were great. compliments. One of my favorite places in Vienna. Good and professional service. Thank you. I will be back

you need to know, where this restaurant is hidden, nestled on first floor of famous Meinl delicatesse store (oh you need to see their wine bar! fabulous!). if you are lost, just ask around, everybody know it :-) we went for lunch (not sure if they serve dinner), and were seated in a lovely cozy old fashioned atmosphere, pepped up... A friend recommended the we visit the deli in Neill. The sights and wonderful smells were worth the visit. We stayed for lunch, we had the business lunch for €39. A tasty amuse bouche, cauliflower soup (magnificent), baked salmon with beetroot and ravioli, followed by a delicious strudel. The service was friendly and unhurried.

The heart of Vienna's old city, surrounded by Chanel and Versace, isn't the first place to expect a grocery store. It's easy to walk right past Meinl am Graben and never realize a supermarket is footsteps from these ultra-expensive fashion houses. That Viennese so cunningly melt their businesses into historical buildings without much to stand out is a feat in... More

There were 4 of at a business lunch. The location is excellent with view down Graben. The service was good. I had lamb, beautifully pink preceeded by duck liver which had been perfectly prepared and proceeded by a selection of sorbets. My colleagues were also equally satisfied.

If you want to impress someone, take him/her to Meinl am Graben. This place is perfect for a business luncheon, just make sure that you have a calm table by the window. Excellent food, wines - the quality is from another world. it is pricey, but worth it.

This restaurant in the supermarket is only offers a small menu. We enjoyed their foie gras and beef tartar as appetizers, duck breast and saddle of lamb as main courses. The meal was delicious, and the tab lower than I expected for such nice meal.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
