Recommended by hotel for traditional and authentic Austrian cuisine that wasn't meant to be too touristy. Walking distance from city hotel and shopping mall. Lovely place has a basement sort of feel with traditional wood furnishings and white tablecloths. We were two couples and we...More

In short, the food was good, but the area next to the entrance and bar counter is a smoking area, unbelievable in 2018 in Europe, disgusting ! In addition, the place is obviously understaffed, service is soooo slow, took 2hr+ for 3 courses. Boss and...More

So hard to know where to eat, with so much choice.....but we chose well. Delicious trout and schnitzel. Everything prepared with care and beautifully presented in traditional surroundings. The strudel was light and crisp. A lovely evening.

We enjoyed the Schnitzel so much we came back two nights later. It truly is one of the best I have had the pleasure of eating. The staff was very attentive, and extremely friendly.

Very nice atmospheres and staff in this small family restaurant in the old Vienna. Simple dishes and well prepared. The Wiener Schnitzel is the best I tried in town. Very light and tasty. Apple strudel was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. They have few...More
