Beautiful building, excellent service, very nice & affordable winelist (if you're lost don't hesitate to ask René, the sommelier, for help) and very good food. We really loved the atmosphere and I would love to visit Steirereck again.

I had been looking forward to dining at Steirereck for several years--and this was one of the reasons we had chosen to stay in Vienna! Unfortunately, though we had a very good meal, it was still quite a letdown for us. The food was all...More

The fact that this restaurant does not have Three Michelin Stars is one of the reasons why I'm sometimes a little leery of the Michelin Restaurant Guide. I've been to this restaurant three times so far - two times for lunch, and once for dinner....More

I like the architecture of the restaurant which stands out like a glass cube in Vienna's Stadtpark. Very modern. This is a 2 Star Michelin, and ranked at no. 10 of the World's Top 50 restaurants. Although it's fine dining, the atmosphere is relax. I...More

One of the most famous gourmet restaurants of the city can be found in one of the most beautiful parts of Vienna, in the middle of the Stadtpark and on the banks of the river: the Steiereck and its sister establishment, the Meierei next door.
