We didn't book, but were quickly found a table on a busy weekday evening. The restaurant has a great upbeat atmosphere with some great tunes playing in the background. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite. The trofie pasta with prawns and asparagus was really excellent, but the spaghetti with pesto was really heavy and cold.

Good Italian food, average service. There isn't too much to say about this restaurant to be honest, the reviews summaries it pretty well - inconsistent. Not an extensive menu but perfectly sufficient, not great service but OK and not outstanding food but tasty none the less. Despite giving it three stars I would go back!

We had enquired about eating late while in here for drinks the previous night as we knew we would be returning quite late from the Volksoper. The pasta was cooked to perfection and it is very reasonably priced for the quality you get. Highly recommend if you need a break from Austrian cuisine!

Stunning Italian food at very reasonable prices in the Museum quarter of Vienna. Very warm cosy atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we ate there 2 nights in a row. Child friendly. Good range of pizza/pasta dishes. Friendly staff.

Went for an early dinner and the food was great! Had the bruschetta to start followed by the special spinach tortellini and calabrese pizza. The food was so fresh, it tasted great. The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was nice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good Italian food!

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
