We enjoyed our time there a lot. The 'Sacher Torte' is amazing and the waiters are extremely friendly. We highly recommend a trip to the Cafe Sacher, since you will have a special experiencethere.

As well as tasting lovely cuisine all over the world what really interests me is the story behind some of the dishes and when you read the story big the sachertorte then you want to try this famous cake and see what the fuss is....More

If you get sucked into the local hype of the infamous Sacher Torte, you might as well go to the source, the Hotel Sacher Cafe. There is ample room inside and sidewalk seating is available, but be prepared to wait a while for a table....More

We came for coffee first we didn’t know much about the legacy/story behind sacher. We came to know from the menus and we order the cake along with the coffee. Both were exceptionally good. Must do in Vienna

Jacob Yilmaz is the worst customer service ever. Should have learned customer service better. Very rude. Bordering throwing our drinks and cake plates instead of putting it nicely on the table. Bad attitude. Food itself isn't great; cake was rather dry.Apple strudel is great.

Tourist mainstream. Average service. The room was too warm inside, seems like intentionally making the guest feeling uncomfortable then leaving the place a.s.a.p.

Cafe Sacher Vienna offers the perfect chance to sample a typical Viennese coffee-house atmosphere and - of course - to treat yourself to a slice of the legendary Original Sacher-Torte. The Cafe Sacher, directly opposite the Opera House, is a popular meeting place in the center of Vienna. The windows of the conservatory fold away in the summer to make an open terrace that is the perfect place to soak up the sights and sounds of the city.
