The cafe is pretty and it is always nice to sit down for some coffee and cake. The sacher cake was the same here as it is in Finland, did not notice any difference in taste. But go for the ambiance!

The interior is really nice and they serve what is called the "original" Sacher torte. Unfortunately, the cake was way too dry (nothing particularly wrong with it, just not very tasty and pretty average), staff was too pretentious and they serve you like they do...More

Cafe Sacher Vienna offers the perfect chance to sample a typical Viennese coffee-house atmosphere and - of course - to treat yourself to a slice of the legendary Original Sacher-Torte. The Cafe Sacher, directly opposite the Opera House, is a popular meeting place in the center of Vienna. The windows of the conservatory fold away in the summer to make an open terrace that is the perfect place to soak up the sights and sounds of the city.
