Really nice location, cozy, and the food is great, at acceptable prices. You have to try the ribbs here. Nice staff, dressed in traditional clothes. Overall a nice experience worth to repeat.

We went with a group of colleagues after the meeting and enjoyed this place a lot. A nice "old times" ambiance, laid back and friendly, menu in 4-5 languages, quick service (relatively), great choice of dishes and drinks. It was great. Starter, main course, two drinks, it was about 28€ per person. Not bad at all.

Food is extraordinary, delicious and portions are quite big! For Vienna, prices are very good according to what you get. Beautiful atmosphere and interior, wonderful and polite staff! We were served by a young guy from Serbia, very polite and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Pürstner has nothing special to offer. But most visitors to Vienna wish to try the famous Wiener Schnitzel. In Pürtstner you get exactly what you want. The Wiener Schnitzel may not be bigger than the plate, but the reason is that the plates are also quite big. The Wiener Schnitzel is made of veal and not pork (of course!) and... More

A friend recommended this place for Spaeztle and boy did it live up to the hype! Absolutely delicious food and cozy environment. We made reservations earlier in the day to make sure we could have dinner here. As we were eating we heard them turn away several people that didn't have reservations but they also let a few lucky people... More

Great place for Austrian cooking and Austrian beers. I think the spare ribs are the best in Vienna. Two large racks are served with grilled potatoes and a salad . You won't finish them but the staff will wrap them up so you can have a great snack (provided your hotel has a microwave). Staff is very friendly and most... More

We called at the last minute, and while they said they were booked, then said they could get us in! When myself and 3 colleagues arrived, they had just turned a party away- and had a beautiful table, set in the corner saved for us. The decor and environment is wonderful! Very authentic feeling and charming. We had a wonderful... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
