Dropped in for lunch whilst shopping- simple food - beautifully done - not cheap but thoroughly enjoyable- would go back!

On my way home (London) I spent one night in vienna after budget city bratislava. Vienna is another tinier London and felt at home. Next to my hotel (another disaster) I found this italian rest. Goes without saying that its location determines its prices which is bad: it should be its quality of food. I had octopus salad and gnocchetti... More

It is overpriced and overrated. Service is fine, food is average, place is only famous to be famous for my perspective. Nothing really impressive. Only the price.. Too high for that.

I paid €30 EUR for terrible obviously previously frozen prawns when I had specifically asked the waitress if the seafood was fresh and not frozen. The staff never came by the table to ask how the food was so I could not address the dissatisfaction during the meal. The truffle mash was watery and my partner's asparagus salad was bland... More

Pleasant modern design atmosphere for Italian dining. Good ambiance. I enjoyed my beef medallions in artisjok sauce and my wife had sea bass, but all very basically served. Tasty though. Green salad was extra. We took a main course only. Cover charge 2x, bottle of red wine € 35 (cheapest). Total bill € 112. Simply over-priced. Sorry.

We stumbled on the restaurant while walking around the streets of Vienna. I love their sandwiches in Florence so I had to try the food here. Very simple decoration, all in italian style. The lady that was serving us was a bit disoriented but we survived her. We ordered homemade pasta with truffles, some other pasta and ribeye. When you... More

The restaurant service is good and the food is delicious however it is very expensive for what it is. The restaurant is located near Stephansplatz which is right in the center. Overall it is a good restaurant.

Good for family gatherings in a separate area. Sophisticated place for business meetings as well. Good food with simple and delicate touches. Service was nice.

It has be a big disappointment of been here with my important business people. It was a shame to be here. From the entrance everything start. Somebody needs to teach people how to smile. We sat down given the menus. After we ordered the food one waitress came to change the cutlery and dropped them on the table and she... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
