Don't be fooled by the appearance at street level. Venture down the stairs and you will find a haven in the city. It is like sitting in someone's garden. We went with a friend who lives in Vienna we would never have discovered it on...More

Would not have found this place on our own - it was suggestion of hotel receptionist when we asked where to get Austrian food. Dishes very substantial, unusual 9to us) & enjoyable. Nice atmosphere including outside seating with coloured lamps.

So glad we made a point to visit Glacis Beisl. This small green dining space is tucked just behind MQ. You will not be disappointed with environment or food(and portions were generous). Great place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner.

This leafy courtyard is a great venue for a relaxing lunch. The entrance is not encouraging but as soon as you turn the corner, you are in a beatiful, informal space with good food and efficient service. We would definitely return.

My husband and I are here twice during our visit to Vienna. Traditional Austrian food in a nice setting. Staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable.

I arrived early for dinner without a reservation, on a Tuesday, and was given the once over and a runaround before I was "allowed" to use a table as long as I left by 8. I was walked past many empty tables to the back...More

We were sat in Glacis Beisl's lovely garden this afternoon at around 3pm. The garden really is a find. Although it is in the middle of the hip 7th district and behind the MQ, it is quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately the service there was terrible...More

Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
