4* because of friendly stuff, nice place and tasty meals, no reservation needed, english menu -1* because of high prices and too simple menu (literally schnitzel on 5 ways 😁)

This is our friends' local Austrian restaurant and whilst it's not always easy to get a reservation, from my only experience I'd encourage you to do so. Very attentive staff, excellent service and quite excellent food at not silly prices.
Arriving in Vienna on Friday evening we did a quick search on TripAdvisor and decided on this place. On entering we found it very busy with a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very tasty goulash and enjoyed the experience.
I went here for dinner with business guests. I had Soup, Schnitzel and a chocolate mousse. Everything tasted well, but in no way remarkable. Prices are a bit high for the quality offered. Atmosphere is nice.
Excellent evening with colleagues in upstairs private dining in traditional building. Staff translated the menu at the beginnining of the evening and continued to be as helpful and attentive for remainder of the evening. Food, wine and schnapps all faultless. 10/10. Thank you
