I had visited this restaurant and went inside and asked them if they had anything in Vegetarian a Lady in glasses came and just gave the menu and left. Although there was no one in the restaurant and it was completely empty she dint bother to tel what they had. I tried to figure out from menu something and asked... More

I will give a 5 stars as this restaurant deserves a much better ranking on Tripadvisor. The place is located in the trendy area of Wieden. The restaurant lacks a little bit of charm, but is not decorated with the usual tacky chinese gold and red sculptures and fabrics. The service is very good, but nobody speaks a proper English... Located this restaurant in a AA Guide to vienna book which stated that it has a extremely creative menu. The restaurant is situated off a side street at the top end of the Naschmarkt (Kettenbruckengasse) strange area but worth the visit. Had a prawn starter followed by a beef dish which was recommended by the young man. It was absolutely... More

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to! The food is absolutely delicious and there's a variety to choose from! Visited this restaurant thrice in five days as we enjoyed it so much! :)

I ordered two Chinese banquets there which could easily compete with what we had in China. It is worth following the very friendly advice we got -in a way give the cook a free hand. The result was indeed stunning and convinced our friends which came from France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland- all well travelled and experienced gourmets. The daily... More

We understand that the previous Chinese lady sold the restaurant five years ago and passed on the recipes to the new owners, a family. We arrived at 17:30 and was the only ones there until 18:30. The good thing is that the next two parties who came in were Chinese locals and they knew the owners. Young son was our... More

Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
Margareten
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
