This is still a must stop for me when back in Vienna. The atmosphere is typical Vienna. It’s hard to explain but I guess it is very welcoming, relaxed and cozy. The food is like you would have at Oma’s house. Assuming of course she...More

The food was delicious, served in a beautiful way. I had a pumpkin soup and boiled beef, both were perfect. Our waiter was so nice and positive that I couldn't believe it 😃. The restaurant is nicely located in a quite corner.

I can't give you the skinny on real Viennese food. What I can tell you is that the schnitzel here is good, the people are friendly, and the menu is varied and interesting. Our waitress, friendly and elegant in her short, spikey blond hair, recommended...More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Not when we were there. However, Gastwirtschaft Schilling (not far from the Wiener) in the Neubaugasse did have roasted liver and it was delicious. Hope this helps
