We visited Tromso to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday. I found this restaurant online and as she is vegan we thought it would be perfect. I emailed them to reserve a table and asked if they could make a vegan cake for her which they confirmed. We travelled from England especially to spend time here celebrating her birthday but when... Popped in here on our Sunday in Tromso - a nice cosy establishment serving Mack beer. We opted for the vegan burger (mostly because that's all that was being served) but it was truly delicious. It worked out around £15 served with wedges, but the flavour was like nothing I've ever tasted. Would highly recommend this cafe, vegan or non-vegan.

Very filling food and large portions. Only two options but wide range of beers to choose from. We ate the chilli con carne and soup.

Came here late night, wide range of beers and drinks from the local Mack-øl through to an alcohol-free beer and even an alcoholic ginger beer. Food had two choices, both vegan: chilli con carne and a miso soup with noodles. Usually $$$ Norwegian prices but quite filling. Atmosphere great, social bar but also tables and little alcoves for privacy if... More

The only vegetarian restaurant in Tromso. Close to the centre of town, so easy to find. Only two dishes when we were visiting. We had the chickpeas and tomatoes, which was a bit bland, but quite good. Prices are very reasonable for Norway.

Found this place just by chance and as soon as we found out it was vegan we had to try. Setting is very trendy and artistic. Food was divine!! Both ordered the vegan burger such was just packed with all sorts of amazing flavours and veg... Quirky place. Worth the visit.

Only a choice of two dishes (chilli con carne and Thai curry), but both were delicious. Good selection of beer and wine. Very few tables, but not a problem for us.

Quirky, comfortable character. Food was excellent. Only one item offered on Sunday afternoon-this time it was a scrumptious burger made of beet root, hommus and another ingredient which I've forgotten. Organic soft drinks. Lengthy beer and wine list although I did not have any of those. Light jazz playing at a pleasant volume. Great place for a relaxing time. Food... More

Sivertsens café and culture cooperative is the only vegetarian restaurant in town, a quirke meeting point for people of all ages and an arena for both concerts, poetry, art and dancing. Are you open minded - we are! The chef decides the menue every day - so it varies from day to day (updates on facebook). The only constant is the delicious vegan food and the relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Restaurant on daytime and vibrant pub in the evenings.
