Nice feeling place, good room, but, food (mediocre) and prices (high, even for Oslo) not great. Not bad for lunch if in a pinch, otherwise, keep looking. Certainly would not recommend supper (I was here twice - a lunch and a supper).

This is a small restaurant and bar in the centre of Oslo, but feels slightly off the 'beaten track'. Staff were very attentive and helpful, menu relatively short, but food very well prepared, plentiful and tasty with excellent fresh bread, rich creamy fish soup. Alcohol...More

Visited for lunch during one day visit to Oslo. Excellent welcome and service, perfect English spoken. Fish soup cannot be recommended more highly - perfect! Lovely coffee and beer! Traditional Cafe ambience inside.

Food was excellent and the staff very kind. They accommodated our family of 5 with small children easily. We had the chicken, lamb chops, and Minsk whale (something new for us Americans). Would definitely recommend.

All was incredible. The food was amazing, rib-eye steak was the best I have ever tried - tender, flavoursome, perfectly cooked - and the salmon was delicious too. Great local craft beer to match a great dinner and a strawberry, mascarpone and lady finder dessert...More

Most people think of Skansen as an outdoors wine & beer venue. Last night, I visited their indoors facilities – and was pleasantly surprised. Small, cozy, with a friendly and almost homely atmosphere. It took a while to be seated and yet another fifteen minutes...More
