I went to see my family in Oslo and been recommended this place by them. Nice lunch, but far too expensive. All the tarts and cakes were not great. A bit tasteless and again too expensive! Very worn interior too and no service at all! Pascal is a big name in Oslo, that's the reason of high prices.

My son and I went here a Monday morning. We were greeted by the sweetest staff, and shared a wonderful mother-son moments with great macarons(the one with rhubarb is a must) and great coffee. Great ambience!

We went there for a coffee and a pastry in the later morning. I had a cafe au lait and my hubby a house coffee. Neither were good. When we ordered the coffee we'd asked to order food a moment later though that we could decide about it but we were never asked to order. The interior is quite run... More

Stopped in to grab a few pastries. Labels/signs were inaccurate, but young woman behind counter was friendly and helpful. Pastries were delicious, especially the one filled with almond cream and chocolate.

Very good and easy to find bakery and chocolatier. Pretty expensive though... but I guess it's worth it :-)

Treat yourself with something sweet or "salty". Oslo's best sweets and some very nice food. Get something nice and bring a gift with you... Look at people passing by, and plan your next sightseeing activity. Close to the castle, and on your way to Vigelandsparken.

Always a pleasure to taste some of the great cakes Pascal presents to the public. Delicious flavors and a lot of different choices to choose from.

Properly made black tea and a tasty croissant made for a good breakfast. Modernist décor. Good location near the US Embassy and the Nationaletheatre train station.

As you would expect, both coffee and cakes are good at Pascal. A bit to fancy for my taste. I prefer the "home-made" style. But a nice place to stop for a break while exploring Oslo.

This is always my first port of call when in Oslo. Lovely food, generous portions, great wines, very reasonably priced...and of course dessert, served with Valldal raspberries. Such a treat! The staff are young, exuberant, and professional. That professionalism shines throughout the whole establishment. Always busy, always buzzing, with such a great vibe.

Description
In 1998 Pascal became the Royal Palace's neighbour when this large, modern café and restaurant opened in Henrik Ibsens gate. Pascal is famous for its delicious French pastries, but you can also enjoy a nice espresso, a warm lunch, a quick dinner at the bar or a gourmet meal in the restaurant in the evening. Pascal Dubuy opened his first café in Tollbugata in 1995, and Oslo's city centre now has four Pascals in the following locations: Tollbugata, Ullevalsveien, Bygdoy allé and Henrik Ibsens gate.
