This is one of my top 5 restaurants in Oslo (being an Oslo Citizen). Great value for Money, Authentic French Food and excellent and nice service. Best of all, the atmosphere, it gives me the feeling of being back in one of my former hometowns, Paris. Too bad though, that you just can't pop by when you feel for it.... More

My xxx'td time here. As usual I order'd entrecôte. The bernaise is to die for, the grilled bred the same. But this time (and for the second time) the steak was not so good, a bit hard, and not the best that I got here. But the staff is really nice, and the food generaly really good, so stop and... More

I ate here with my daughter. We had the bouillabaisse for two that was very good. This is the second time I have had this here, and both times I have enjoyed it very much. The hospitality is great. We didn't have a reservation, but we were a bit early, so it was not a problem.

Stuck in Oslo, dreaming of Paris? Eat your heart out here. With a giant shell fish platter, the dessert trolley and a glass of chilly chablis, you won't be able to tell the difference.

Brasserie France is as close you can get to a French bistro in Norway you can get. The interior, the food, the wines, the service, everything is so French it can be. When I miss Paris, I eat at Brasserie France. It's fun, the service is excellent, the food delicious, and the wines gorgeous. It's expensive all right, but all... More

Nice restaurant, able to accommodate us on a Saturday night with no reservation. The foie gras was delicious as was the escargot. Definitely a great find in the Oslo Centrum.

Authentic French restaurant. Nice for both couples and business. We sat on the first floor, the tables were close, just like in France. The food was very good, the service too.

I was wary of the reviews that cited poor service, but I did not find this to be the case. Perhaps due to low traffic on a Monday evening. I found both the service android to be quite good and would recommend that this restaurant is not one to be missed.
