The Cafe works as a Gallery and Cafe/bar place as well. Great food /cakes, amazing coffee. If you buy black coffee, water or tea you'll get free refills.

Good food but not so fantastic service...we sat on the outside service and one of us was left waiting for our food for quiet a while. While the food was good when we got it, I think they need to focus a little more on service!

Next to the cathedral, this is a good place to stop for a beer, coffee or meal. An outside back courtyard has popular seating in the summer. Inside, lots of different seating modules offer options in 4 rooms of where to sit. Access is via steps to both doors and toilets are in the basement.

This cafe offers beer too and can be very nice when the sun comes out due its a back yard. The cafe offers some warm dishes, salads, cakes and handmade pralines. The staff is friendly. The cafes walls are used as exhibition space by the art gallery on the second floor.

Excellent place to meet friends in an informal and "bohemic" atmosphere. High quality art works are displayed and changes from time to time. We like to come here for a cup of coffee or tea and delicious pastry or have a small, tasty meal before a concert. They always have something vegetarian on the menu.

This is a nice place for having a café or a beer out on the terrasse, a few steps away from the cathedral of Trondheim. The beer is quite cheap if I remember well (Norwegian standard of course) and the food is basic but OK (quite pricy though). In the evening, that's not the kind of bar where you would... More

Have been here on several occasions, last time was just before Christmas. It is in an old building, like many others buildings in Trondheim, but it just adds to the charm! Good food, cozy atmosphere and a lovely back garden to sit in if it is nice weather. Definitely worth a visit when you are in town, either for just drinks... More

Rustic, artistic, minimalistic etc Ground floor and garden of an art gallery make up the perfect surroundings for a group of friends, a student couple or a single lady reading the newspaper. Menu is homemade, good without being very impressive. You don't come for the food but to enjoy the great ambience over a cup of coffee or a glass... More

Depending on what you are looking for this might be a great place for some food. But do keep in mind that this is not going to be sophisticated dining. It's a simple cafe that offers some great food. We loved the pulled turkey burger.
