My husband and I searched for a bit, but finally located Mormor's Stua in a narrow side street in Trondheim. We ordered at a front counter, we sat at a table, and our food was brought to us. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Both the quiche and onion soup that we ordered were good; However the best attribute... More

Cake buffet for 89 Nok, therefore it's cheap for Norwegian standards. But the cakes are very average and taste like cafeteria food. Thumbs up for the free coffee refills!

You won't find a cheaper pint of beer than here at Mormor's. I've never tasted the food, but it is said to be good, and the pastries are very good.

The store is an old house and they kept up all the charm of it. I lke it better on the second floor. For the summer there is a very nice patio on the back. Good coffe and sweets. Nice food, very good atmosfear, nice happy young faces. Give it a try.

One of the most comfortable places I have ever been to. My favorite in town, can't wait to go back to Trondheim and Mormors is one of the reasons. The cakes are pretty good, and so are the teas. But the old wood all over, the shabby look of the furniture, the photos, the lace, the simplicity is absolutely brilliant!... More

A charming place, with decorations like your grandma's house. Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere, what Norwegians call koselig. Good hot chocolate. I will sure come back to try everything there.

This place is like walking into a grandmother's house - quite charming. They serve warm dishes, cakes and coffees. A nice place for a meal or a coffee break!

Found this little cafe by chance I guess it has it's charm and is probably ok for a coffee,or an ice cream.I ordered a pizza from a can't really be bothered girl behind the desk. The pizza was the worst it ever didn't even resemble one, after one bite that was it a total waste of money.
