We took our grandaughter to this establishment on the pier for their 'Victorian Afternoon Tea'. We received a choice of sandwiches, cream scones, cake and tea, coffee or a soft drink. The service was first class and the look of the tea rooms was strictly old world. The price was quite affordable and the experience shone a light on what... More

We decided to try this place for lunch. Well, I wish we hadn't. The service was so slow. I went up to the counter after a long wait to order only to be informed about the table service so I walked back to yhen table. I could see our drinks appeared on the counter but it wasn't brought to us... More

45 minutes for 5 hot drinks said it all for me - I won't be back in a hurry! Inviting interior but all vacant tables were full of used crockery. Waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and a further 25 for 2 teas, 2 coffees and a hot chocolate!. We weren't alone and I noticed one family... More

What a perfect place to enjoy a drink or a snack. It's on a lovely pier with a great setting friendly staff, a basic menu but all looks good the coffee was hot and strong. Excellent value, you must go there.

Don't ask for cappuccino it is undrinkable and out of a packet. It had a chemical taste and artificially sweetened. We visited for a cup of coffee about 3 weeks ago on a sunny Sunday. The staff were friendly but the quality of the drinks leave a lot to be desired. We will not be going back.

Visited Eastbourne for the first time and took a stroll on the Pier. The Victorian Tea Rooms are situated bang in the middle of the pier. Well decorated and suitable for that little break we all need sometime during the day. My wife had a fruit tea and I had a normal tea. Both came in antique pots with enough... More

Having passed the cafe on serval occasions my wife decided to call in on the off chance that there might be something gluten free in cake display. To her surprise and mine as well the lady offered a choice of carrot/ chocolate & coffee cake but having just eaten we decided to call in the following day. We duly arrived... More

Even though we were one of the first visitors in the morning, the floor was very dirty and so was everything else. We ordered two capuccinos, they arrived within two minutes and tasted week and awfull. Had definetly nothing to do with a proper cappuccino. We paid 2,50£each and will definetly never come back to this tea room. Such a... More

Staff were polite if a little disinterested. Coffee was good, the cake too. The mixed gender toilet is not only desperately in need of an overhaul but it is filthy! The cafe could do with a good clean too.

Stopped off here for lunch midweek. We ordered the Tea Party For Two which came with a pot of tea, 2 large slices of cake of your choice, 2 scones with clotted cream and jam, and 2 sandwiches of your choice. Everything was fine but nothing special. I could have replicated the experience just as easily in my living room.... More
