Had a lovely breakfast here after a stay in the Travelodge. It is right next door and seems to be very popular. We were there for 9.30 and just managed to grab the last table. It is a victim of its own success as you do have to wait to eat but the waitress makes this clear and as everything is cooked fresh it is worth the wait. We had the bloomer breakfast and the bloomer scrambled egg with bacon. Both were beautifully served and every element was tasty and enjoyable and very well priced for the quality and quantity. Would definitely recommend.

We were lucky to be one of the first customers in on a Saturday morning as by the time we left the place was full. There were only two members of staff on front of house but they did a great job of getting the food out whilst maintaining a super friendly demeanour! Not always an easy combination. The café was bright and airy and the big breakfast was delicious with super meaty bacon and top notch sausages. Cracking spot to load up for a day of walking on Great Orme!

Living on Anglesey we're no strangers to visiting Llandudno for shopping etc. Always struggled to find a café that would provide honest, decent food at reasonable prices. We struggle no more. The Loaf serves up decent, well prepared food at reasonable prices with warm and friendly service. It's clearly popular judging by the fact that it was busy but that didn't seem to phase the staff who just got on with it and maintained their welcoming manner. Great place...we'll be back. 10/10

Found this place on trip advisor. It had excellent reviews so we decided to give it a try. The breakfast was delicious. The food was made to order so it was cooked fresh but didn't take long at all. The staff were so friendly and pleasant and it was great value for money. We had the bloomer and the full breakfast with drinks, it was just over £13 and we ate more than enough. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the cakes and the scones looked stunning. Highly recommended place, good quality food and very reasonably priced.

Excellent breakfast had the full breakfast and the bloomer very well cooked and presented , good value for money. I am very fussy about coffee, the Americano I was served was perfect. Will definitely return on my next visit to Llandudno but go early to get a table

Called in for a coffee and hot chocolate and both were so good that returned following morning for breakfast. Very impressed with the full grilled breakfast, everything was cooked fresh and very good quality ingredients. Returned the same day for coffee and hot chocolate and cakes and going back for breakfast. Would highly recommend

Had 2 full breakfasts here and both were superb. We arrived at opening time and by the time our breakfasts were served the cafe was full, which tells you everything you need to know. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Everything is spotlessly clean. I would recommend this cafe and would never consider eating anywhere else in Llandudno.

We decided to try here after all the good reviews on trip advisor. I am somewhat a little wary of saying anything other than positive as reading the other less than positive reviews on here you can see that anything offering slight constructive criticism is not appreciated or taken on board, but here goes. My husband and I arrived at approx 10.20am to be in a small queue that consisted of 2 parties in front of us. We were informed there would be a wait, that was fine, and the wait was roughly 20 minutes. When we got inside I ordered the full English breakfast and my husband had the bloomer breakfast. As everything is cooked fresh we had approx another 15 minute wait again which was no problem. We were given our drinks while we waited which were included with the breakfasts. The food arrived fresh and well cooked and the portions were on the large size. The sausages were not the best I've ever had but not the worst either and everything else was as you would expect with a full breakfast. While we were eating a customer who had eaten his food approached a member of staff to ask for a further cup of tea. She abruptly informed him no more food orders were being taken??? He wanted just a cup of tea which again he went requested informing her he had already eaten and didn't want any more food, just a drink. When she realised this she then accepted his order. Following this a new customer came into the shop and was abruptly told no further food orders were being taken?? There was at this time no queue and some empty tables so I found this a little strange! Not deterred we returned the next day as the breakfast the day before had been ok and the place was local to where we were staying. We got there just after 9.30, no queue woo hoo. There were also empy foldable tables that had not been put out and an empty 2 seater table inside that appeared to have a reserved sign on it?? However we were informed there were no tables available and it would be quite a wait until one would be. This was probably the reason for no queue. While we were deciding what to do another couple came to the queue. They were again abruptly told the same information as we were. They didn't like her tone so decided to go elsewhere as did we. I've got to say that if you don't mind queuing and waiting for an ok average breakfast or observing a business in action that clearly isn't bothered if they sell you a breakfast or not, or get spoken to like a child in school then this could be the ideal place for you. But finding somewhere that does a decent breakfast and appreciates the customer and their cash isn't hard so I would recommend finding an alternative before going here.

The service and quality of food provided was excellent. Considering the current climate too, this was the only time during our break away that it felt controlled and at ease at the same time. Shannon was a Ray of sunshine and an asset to the team, always upfront regarding wait times etc and always delivered everything with a smile and conversation that wasn't forced, really friendly. All the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you.. The food spoke for its self.. Just top quality and delicious, please pass our regards on to the kitchen who got our orders spot on even though we had some items slightly different to the menu... Thanks so much we will most definitely be returning x

We decided to go for breakfast at The Loaf at the weekend when visiting my Grandad who lives in Conwy. We opted for the breakfast which was divine. It came exactly as we ordered (I am fussy and they got it just right!) and the staff were lovely. I actually commented that it was the nicest breakfast I have ever had and my granddad loved the fact that the owner spoke to him in Welsh. Definitely worth a visit!

Shannon greeted us and ensured that we had everything that we needed. Due to lockdown only external tables were available and the owners had ensured that everyone was socially distanced and after every table vacated the staff washed the table and chairs down very very thoroughly. A great start knowing you are with a business that cares about safety. The coffee was hot and tasty and lunch was generous portions and quality ingredients. We opted for toasties and the Welsh rarebit which was delicious. Shannon kept popping by to ask if we needed anything and checking that we had enjoyed lunch. A real character who made us laugh but gave great customer service. Highly recommended, the cakes looked incredible but we were too full to indulge. Dogs are also allowed outside but not inside.

In a 2 day trip we came here 3 times! We were both loved the sausage and egg muffins for breakfast - hot, freshly made and very tasty! We then simply had to come back for white chocolate rocky road and milkshakes! The staff are lovely and really efficient. There was always a queue outside but it seemed to go down really fast. Highly recommend - it won’t disappoint!

We visited here on two out of three days on our stay in Llandudno and were impressed each time. First time we were seated straight away indoors, tables were very well spaced out, everywhere clean and tidy and the interior was lovely. dual aspect windows so you have a view from most tables Staff extremely friendly and attentive. The menu offers a good choice and very reasonably priced. It is a shame they are not open later as we would have come for our evening meal, we didn't find anywhere on our stay which had better food. Welsh rarebit with mushrooms was really excellent and can highly recommend. Generous portion and made fresh to order, really tasty. The breakfast menu is offered until 11am and after that there is a good selection of main meals, sandwiches, milkshakes and fresh cakes etc to choose from. The second day we had our breakfast, which was reassuringly stated as 'grilled' rather than a fried breakfast which can be greasy. We had a wait on but didn't mind as we knew everything was cooked fresh, our drinks arrived swiftly, breakfast was hot and everything cooked nicely. Sausages and bacon very good quality which is always a plus. On the next table they had fish and chips and homemade quiche, both of which looked excellent, the soup must be popular too as they had sold out when we went for lunch Can see why it is rated #1 in Llandudno! Best wishes to all at the Loaf.

The Loaf is in the middle of town, easy to find and popular. In the holiday season, they could probably get away with lower standards but to their great credit they don't. We were a party of three adults and a baby, We had really good outside seats. I chose the Lasagna, another had the Rarebit and the third had the soup and sandwich. We all had desserts, again all different. We all loved our food because it tasted home-made, and not just from any home but one which takes pride. On top of all that, we were served by Shannon, who is a great host, naturally interested in her customers and effortless made everyone on evry table feel as if they got special attention. Brilliant

Brilliant place for breakfast. We have never felt so comfortable and welcomed in a restaurant in the area. Such great friendly and banterous service. A special shout out and thank you to Shanon! Also serves gluten free sausages, bread and panini’s. The chef brought out an extra fried egg because he felt the first wasn’t perfect enough! (We didn’t even notice). If we went here earlier would’ve definitely been our go-to place every day😊
