We visited Da Venezia twice last week during our five night stay in Llandudno. What a welcome addition to the night-time food offering in the town. We knew the location of the restaurant, having visited its predecessor, Valentino’s many times over the years, but patrons unfamiliar with Llandudno may walk past, not realising it is there and they would miss out on a real treat.
We hadn’t booked and visited on the off-chance of finding a free table and we were lucky on both occasions. However, as the restaurant becomes more popular, which I am sure it will, it would probably be advisable to book in future.
The welcome from Michele was warm and friendly and she was ably assisted by other family members on our second visit. The food was well presented and tasted absolutely delicious. Thank you to Sibilla and Michele for taking the time to answer our questions about the mushroom soup and Pizzocheri, as we were hoping to recreate some of your dishes at home, albeit the outcome won’t be of the same standard as yours, but we’ll give it a try.
We highly recommend paying Da Venezia a visit; you won’t be disappointed. Wishing Michele and Sibilla good luck in the future and we will definitely see you in April when we visit Llandudno again.

I’ve been here for quite a few times. And I’ll be back. My goal is to eat myself through the whole menu. Twice. At least. My progress is about 45%, and I haven’t reached the Pizzas yet, only twice for sharing one each time with my companions.
The place is a piece of Italy 🇮🇹: cozy, warm and welcoming.
Sibilla and the waitresses are very friendly, polite, professional, they always give a wonderful smile to every single customer, it’s a real pleasure to be surrounded by angels like them.
Michele in the kitchen is allegedly a Chef, but I know for sure that he’s a wizard, because every meal that comes out of his kitchen is simply magical.
Once my starter, one of the bruschettas had a special combination of flavours that reminded me of my late Grandmother’s recipe and that brought back my childhood and put tears in my eyes.
Wide repertoire of drinks, the Italian wines are out of this world, the Italian beers are too, I couldn’t imagine any better. Even the soft drinks are excellent.
The cleanliness is immaculate, there’s always nice Italian music, the atmosphere is just wonderful.
It’s always a brilliant experience to visit this beautiful gem of Llandudno. It’s in the heart of the town, walking distance from the station, close to the North Shore, it’s just simply

Exceptional authentic Italian...hospitality, food and wine all surpassed my expectations, the prices are fabulous for the quality and service you receive. Had one of the specials mains and dessert along with options off the main menu too and cannot wait to return to sample the rest...table already booked! Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff, by far the best hidden little gem in town.

We can’t praise this family run restaurant enough! We recently spent two nights running enjoying their amazing, reasonably priced food and hospitality - last night being a special anniversary and they made such a fuss of us, sparkly red hearts on our table, Limoncello etc. All credit to Sibilla and her husband - what a team!

Visited on Wednesday 18 Jan. I can't recommend this authentic Italian highly enough. It is a family run restaurant with amazing food and ambience. I had pork in a delicious sauce and there was no issue when I asked if it could be served with tagliatelle rather than the normal sides. Nothing is too much trouble for them to please the customers and my meal was perfect. Good price wine and excellent liqueur coffees. Best Italian we have been to in Llandudno by far. If I lived in Llandudno I'd never be away!!

What an experience! We really enjoyed the incredible fresh seafood and the pasta was just perfect. The service was impeccable from start to finish and we felt very well looked after. It makes such a difference when it's a small independent restaurant and we really felt the passion and care.

Visited with family to the restaurant we were greeted by Sibilla who seated us down.
The food was 5 stars from Starters to Mains to puddings. The food came out on time, everything was served together and hot.
The starters were very tasty and geared us up for our mains. We had the chicken, steak and swordfish special, everything was cooked to perfection including the steak and the sauces complimented very well. Even the chips were excellent! :D
For dessert we had profiteroles, caprese and lemon cheesecake. I must say that was one of the nicest Lemon cheesecakes I have had!
Honestly if you haven’t visited this restaurant you really are missing out. A family run business who do it well.
Well done guys.
We will be visiting again very soon!

Had a wonderful meal. We were not going to have a starter as we had had a good lunch. After we ordered our mains, the waitress apologised that we might need to wait a little as everything was freshly cooked. We therefore ordered some bruschetta to share. They were delicious.
The mains were all excellent, good portions and beautifully cooked. Despite managing most of the mains, we were tempted by the desserts and so glad that we were. Service was also excellent and the white house wine also good and reasonably priced.
We had the salmon pasta, calzone (which was stuffed with all sorts of wonderful food) and the sea bream special, For deserts, we had the profiteroles, chocolate and hazelnut cake, sorbet and ice cream and the affogato with brandy. We will be back next time we are in Llandudno.

We booked this place in advance for a birthday treat for my son's 13th while we were visiting Llandudno for the weekend.
It was a cosy, intimate restaurant with very attentive staff and the food was delicious. As we had flagged up that it was a birthday, the staff decorated the table and my son's dessert which was a really lovely touch. We had the window table too which was a great spot with a view of the sea and Great Orme. Highly recommend!

Visited this fabulous Italian restaurant last Saturday night and we were really impressed.
The standard of food and service could not have been better.
From the moment we walked into the restaurant the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and the quality of food was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for them.
When we are in Llandudno again we won’t hesitate to pay them another visit.

Really lovely Italian restaurant. Service was attentive, the decor was warm and welcoming with subtle music in the background which made the evening very nice. The food was outstanding- fresh and hot. We had the house white wine which was a dry white which was also at a decent price. Such a lovely place with friendly people to end our trip in Llandudno. You will not find anywhere as good in llandudno, the people, the service and the food are an absolute winning combination. Everything tastes so authentic and is always served piping hot and servings are generous.
Highlights for us are always the chicken and n'duja risotto and the special they do of slow cooked beef and pork served with garganelli pasta. The pizzas are also to die for!
It is clear to see why they are rated number 1 on trip advisor

First time visiting this new Italian restaurant and I must say that it was very good indeed.
Lovely setting on first floor with around 30-36 covers.
Service was excellent with great choice of Italian lagers and wine was very reasonably priced.
There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed every starter, main and sweet.
I can certainly recommend the calzone which was the best I have ever tasted.
Will certainly go again.
A definite quality restaurant in the heart of Llandudno.

We had not booked and the area was busy on Tues 4th July, when we arrived it was busy and the staff were very accommodating and giving us the last table. Food was very very good, generous portions. All staff were very efficient and polite nothing was any trouble. We had bread starter and calzone and lasagne for mains and cheesecake as dessert. Prices are very reasonable too especially for the quality of the food.
