Booked restaurant for family dinner get-together of 12, including children and received wonderful attention and service. On entering ordered drinks at the bar and lounged in soft settees by the fires until table was ready. Had coconut and chilli shrimps as a starter, others had soup - all excellent. For mains was really pleased with my monk fish and shrimp... More

We booked Osborne's cafe and grill on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying in; we booked at 9pm and arrived at 9:15pm; luckily they were still serving and we had scallops which were fantastic to start and then seabass. Food was very good, atmosphere was romantic - we would return, but turn up on time next time as... More

My husband had booked a meal as a surprise for our wedding anniversary on 16th Feb, the whole experience cannot be faulted from the minute we arrived to when we left. Lovely atmosphere, staff were attentive and friendly, food was faultless, just beautiful. The lounge, restaurant and whole building is very welcoming and cosy. Can't wait to return.

I have been several times to this stunning original Victorian property with its marble colonnades and stunning views. There is a fabulous formal dining restaurant, well worthy of the 50th birthday celebration we had there. The front lounge bar area is full of comfy leather sofas and perfect for a light bite or drink. This is a very classy joint!

Great food served by a friendly staff We discovered that Osborne House is a sister hotel to The Empire, so it was no surprise that the food was so good. The atmosphere at the Osborne House is quite different to The Empire though as the decor is a little ornate, but this did not in any way detract from the... More

Finding it difficult to understand all the good reviews! I found the food very average and over priced for what it is, also the menu description is not like what you received. I ordered coconut prawns with a chilli pickle, what I got was 6 battered deep fryed prawns on dry iceberg lettuce with a chilli sauce dip!(which are bought... More

The vegetarian selection appears to have become extremely limited with just a veggie curry or risotto on offer. The sample menu on line also only has a curry or a different flavoured risotto so hints at a lack of imagination. My garlic mushrooms had so much pepper in them they were inedible, I don't think I've ever left a garlic... More

The rain was pouring outside but inside the soft sofas and cozy roaring fireside made us all glow. The afternoon tea was glorious washed down with champagne. It certainly brightened up a dark winters day. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. If anything the cakes needed a little more thought as they were a bit drab but it was all very fresh... More

Description
Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.
