Too expensive for the food that they offer. It is nice to eat in a ship but they price doesn’t deserve it.

Been a regular customer here for the last few years. But this evening has to be noted as “Disappointing” The tempura starter basically was not Tempura at all, very disappointed. Good overall just didn’t have the normal flair you would come to expect from here....More

Great location, very good food, good service. A very agreeable lunch. However the outside of the boat could do with a bit of TLC, but don’t be put off.

There are a number of car parks around who ever the parking at the Novotel is only a 7 min walk away. You have not said whether you are lunching or having dinner.

Within easy walking distance of the town centre, Ipswich's most original restaurant, Mariners, is an antique Dutch customs gunboat, moored along Neptune Quay. You can relax in its wonderful atmosphere and its polished brass ambience. From a quick snack for lunch on the upper deck to a romantic dinner on the lower deck, it is the perfect place for an evening on the sea front.
