We went here for lunch on a sunny warm Wednesday in May for my husband's birthday. Not knowing much about the area I thought a nice steak would be a fair choice. Having walked in we were the only people in there. We were shown...More

We both like a rack of ribs so went purely to eat ribs. The portions were generous and so were the chips and jacket potato. We ate early, 6pm and the service was very quick and efficient.

It is such a shame when the steak lets a steakhouse down. The drinks came quickly, the staff were nice, the starters were good but both steaks were half fat and gristle. Really, really disappointing. The gentleman serving blamed it on a new chef. Despite...More

Took one of our best customers for a casual few beers on the quay followed by all you can eat ribs. Had a low expectation, but the ribs were delicious. The hot sauce is very hot and was the ideal condiment. Will definitely be back!

Is there a lift to the restaurant from the ground floor instead of the long flight of steps

Yes, but you will have to find it on the ground level, then there is 1 minute or so walk to the restaurant, if it is working? I guess any local can tell you where you get access, enjoy the meal if you make it
