Booked a table at Sol for five people a while in advance. The restaurant got rather busy by about 7.30pm with people waiting at the bar for a table. There was a Christmas menu on: £18.95 for three courses. I had the duck liver pâté...More

We used the back room for our fairly large party. Service was ok to good, and the food was excellent. I had the Cajun Chicken, and absolutely loved it. Everybody enjoyed their food.

Finished off the meal with a 100 tr old Spanish Brandy, much nicer than that French rubbish, £8.95 a single is of course expensive, but for a treat, it was well worth it. The food was also excellent!

We are here last week and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the cheeriness of the staff. Two of us shared the mixed grill, which was absolutely huge....could have fed all four of us. We had a great night. Highly recommended.

Another fabulous meal here! Picked by my girlfriend for her birthday. It was a split group, some tapas, some set menu. All food delivered in good time. All tasted great, what more do we want? Looking forward to our next visit already

Difficult to mark as between a three and a four but not able to give a 3.5. Tasty breaded Brie starter let down by the bread crumb covering being extremely dry. The pan-fried lambs liver with mash and veg was lovely. Creme brûlée with ice...More
