Three Houses is a lovely place to visit for lunch, dinner, snacks or just drinks. The decor is really comfortable and the range of drinks on offer is comprehensive, you can even treat yourself to a glass of champagne or a prosecco cocktail. We had dinner this visit and the food was delicious. The staff were lovely and we thoroughly... More

After having a pre-dinner drink in the cosy bar area, we went to dine. A wonderful section of choices, including vegetarian for my daughter. The plates were impressive and looked amazing, the food was excellent. I would recommend a visit. The cost was reasonable.

We called in for a pint, and the Timothy Taylor ale was in excellent condition. However we were disappointed to learn that none of the fires or stove, as shown on the promotional photos, were going to be lit, in spite of requests. I find this misleading and does not encourage a visit in the cold winter months.

This has to be one of the worst establishments in Wakefield. The manager made Basil Fawlty look like a real professional. Booked a table for 8 on Saturday Night 26th November. Seated at 7.50, didn't order starters just mains and puddings. Food arrived at 9.43. Cancelled puddings, After 25 minutes told 25% of what we had ordered was not available.... More

This was our second visit since the refurb on a very busy Saturday night... We were not disappointed! The food was great and arrived promptly despite there being a large 60th birthday to cater for! It was all cooked well and definitely recommend the chicken and chorizo skewers and a steak! The staff were polite and friendly (they were extremely... More

r from 3 Sunday dinner varieties only 1 was available (which we where told at the point of ordering, not when we first sat down), pork which was fatty and tough, carrots and parsnips that where hard, and the potatoes un-edible due to them being so burnt. Ourselves and 4 other couples complained although the manager did not seem overly... More

Last week went to 3s with family. Food was fabulous. Warm welcome and really nice atmosphere. The special part was that they made Harry who has autism very welcome and went the extra mile in terms of food and extras. Great Place to eat and Drink.

I haven't been here for many years and I was pleased I finally returned. We were a group of 6 and all but 1 of the party enjoyed their meal. The faults were minor but spoilt the overall experience for our party. The staff are friendly but just need to polish up their act a bit. After saying that I... More

Visited with friends on Thursday night, first time any of us had been since it changed hands. Decor is great, unfortunately the same can't be said about the service or the meals. My partner had a fillet steak which he said was perfect, chips were undercooked and had a strange taste. Two of us had monkfish which was served on... More

We have been a couple of times now for a meal and have not been disappointed. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The Restaurant and the bar areas are very cosy and relaxing, its that cottage feel.
