At the quality of the food (mains & dessert). There are quite a few Italian restaurants in Carlisle but this was the standout for us. It was a good eating space, the prices were reasonanble, & the staff friendly. We'd recommend it.
Visited Casa Romana when on a day out in Carlisle, and would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. The food and service was excellent from friendly staff and would definitely return when back in Carlisle.
