We visited twice during our long weekend in Ballater, the first time just for drinks and the following day for lunch. We had the soup, cheeseboard and pancakes. Good quality food and speedy service while maintaining a relaxing atmosphere.

Very busy (usually a good sign) so popped in with friends. Paid just under £10 for a coffee and a small sandwich (with the obligatory bit of green and half a dozen crisps on the side - such a British thing!). Coffee average and felt somewhat ripped off by food.

We had lunch here after a long walk the sandwich was perfect but the coffee could have been a little warmer as we added a dash of milk it was simply cold seemed to be busy.
