I have lived around the corner from this pub for 5 years and normally head to Windsor when family visit but decided it was time to visit my local. Good food serving times and great prices. The fish and chips, hunters chicken and kids meals had no complaints at all. Tasted fresh. Service was very warm and welcoming. Desserts you... More

Good quality mixed grill for the £11.99. Son had a cheese and bacon burger which he demolished. Only one staff member out front but luckily wasn't busy!! 2 pints 2 meal just short of £24. Good tasty food. Nice pub with sheltered smoking / vaping area. Will use again if ever in the area.

Always had a very good meal here. Staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. There is an enclosed garden at the back on grass with picnic style tables and the same tables at the front although this bit is open. Would recommend for family and friends, it is also suitable for couples but not always quiet if you... More

I frequently visit the King's Head with work colleagues and have also done so several times personally with relatives. Often, the meals are decently cooked and quite generous portions. I have always been more than happy with my own meals however I have encountered a few negative experiences. We ordered a child's sausage, mash and peas which was a decent... More

This is an old village pub with wood beams. The food is good value for money and of decent quality. You order and pay in advance at the bar, put waiters bring the food to your table. We were in just before Christmas and our two children were given wrapped gifts by the waitress too, which was a nice, unexpected... More

Quiet pub with an excellent menu. Food came extremely fast and the service was fab. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.

Visited with friends who stay in the area who eat here regularly. I found the food to be unappetising and pretty tasteless. I know it has a reputation as being cheap and cheerful but I would rather spend a few more pounds and eat someplace decent. Restaurant itself was pretty dingy and smelled musty due to a leak from the... More
