The largest pieces of cake in England and they taste amazing. The views and gardens are so relaxing to sit there all day long.

Called into these tea rooms whilst visiting Connaught Gardens. What a find. Beautiful meals and delicious cakes, although it is very popular so be prepared for a wait. We thought it was well worth it!

Great bacon, Brie and cranberry sarnie. Shame we were too full to eat some fantastic cake. We visit each time we come to Sidmouth .

This tearoom make some of the largest cakes you will see. There is a small seating area inside or lots of places to sit and eat in the gardens. A big variety of cakes , savouries and drinks.

I took my 11-year old daughter here for lunch. My daughter is coeliac and dairy free, so we asked for a plain jacket potato with beans in a separate pot on the side. We bought our own butter and vegan cheese with us. Believe it or not, some restaurants make a fuss about this but not this one. The service... More

Went here on Easter Sunday with my husband and friends. Amazed at the sizes of the cakes and how much choice there is so yummy! Must add that it was Easter Sunday but very, very busy and staff looking very fraught!! Took a while to be served but enjoyed the tea. We shared a piece of caramel and date cake... More

Stumbled on this little gem while walking in Sidmouth. Enter from the road through Connaught gardens, or climb up the steps by the beach. The tea rooms are set in the lovely gardens and just next to some wonderful views of the coastline. Couldn't resist the smells of cooked breakfast as we strolled through the gardens and so we ordered... More
