This is a proper pub with great food. Good atmosphere and great friendly staff. A large varied menu with good prices. Can't fault it and will be back.

Just returned from the Sidmouth folk festival. My friend and I had two excellent meals at this lovely pub. Generous portions and delicious too. The fish pie is amazing and it's all very reasonably priced...wish it was my local!

Excellent service. An extra meal was accidentally added to our complex order when the pub was running at full tilt during folk week. We were refunded before even bringing it to anyone's attention. Food was lovely. A proper genuine pub.
