I LOVE it here, we visit each time we're in Scarborough as a treat and this year I got to celebrate my birthday on the top floor with a sea view listening to live music. My favourite meal is the Scarborough Chowder, delicious and staff are lovely :)

This venue seems to be a mix between a bar restaurant and a cafe. The prices are in line with a restaurant setting, but the menu makes everything feel more cafe like. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the starter when it arrived (nachos), and all of our group were very impressed with the quantity and quality of... More

A piece of stale ciabatta, and olives floating in brine...so not really what I would call tapas at all..very small children's meals severe in very small bowls... we left after this I... More

Visited the bar on a Tuesday afternoon, weather was nice so popped in to quench the thirst. Stella not flushed through so settled for a Budweiser. Took one sip and took them both straight back. No taste of lager was present, very weak pint indeed. Was reported a Stella and that wasn't up to scratch either but couldn't be bothered... More

The burgers are the cheapest frozen meat you can buy. So dry it was hard to eat. They dress the plate up (chips in a little bucket and a swirl of dressing for presentation) to try and justify charging you a tenner for the privileged. My husband had the chowder and there were loads of empty shells in the bowl.... More

I respect your views but with all due respect. 1. Our burgers and hand made from fresh ingredients to our own recipe, by one the best butchers in Scarborough and are far from cheap. 2. With regards to the chowder, it is extremely popular, if there is a shell without a mussel etc in it you will always find that... More
