Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches and two coffees took quite a while to come as staff busy talking to each other. No smiles no manners so wouldn't bother again

Himself, dog and me had just completed a fab walk on North Bay Beach and taken a few pics of Freddie Gilroy. Having been made thirsty by bracing North Sea air, we stopped at the Oasis for a brew. The queue was quite extensive, which is always a good sign. The tea we were served was great (I'm a Yorkshire... More

Made the mistake of stopping for fish and chips. It was a busy day and things were being cooked to order so it was over 20 mins wait for two fish and chips. When we got them they tasted bad - like the chips had been cooked in old oil and the fish was frozen. This was the only thing... More

Dropped in for 2 cappuccinos and we were tempted by a Danish pastry. The pastry was lovely but the cappuccino tasted like it as been made from powder and hot water and had not been near a machine! I guess seeing the tin marked "Maxwell House Cappuccino" should have been a warning but you have to give folks the benefit... More

We headed to the Oasis Cafe after walking along the front on a cold but bright January day. Great that the cafe is open at this time of year and even better they had their home made soup again. This time we even had croutons with it and just as tasty and good value as last time. Just what you... More

After a walk along the seafront on a cold October day nothing better than stopping off at the Oasis Cafe for a cup of their homemade soup. Great value and we have always enjoyed it. This time it was vegetable - lovely. Certainly warms you up as you are walking along. There is some undercover seating as well as upstairs... More

Ate here two nights and a morning. Excellent food and service, very reasonable prices given it is right on the North Bay seafront. Sitting area at no extra charge. Very popular as was busy each time we visited. Would highly recommend it.
