Made my first visit today with friends and it did not disappoint! Panko chicken and Eat me's own take on the ceaser salads were lush! The chips were honestly the best I have tasted in a long time! Had a slight wait but as an apology for this a couple of items were deducted from the bill which we thought... More

Wonderful vegetarian breakfast, lovely home cooked food and good value too. Very extensive menu choice not just the traditional cooked breakfast. Also like the choice offered of a smaller potion.

We love it here. Very good choice of food, always very fresh and obviously use very good ingredients. Coffee and cake's are wonderful! Daughter says it's the best hot chocolate around. Very nice staff too!

I last visited at Christmas time, and it was wonderful as always. The chips are seriously to die for, and every single time I have been, everything has been perfect. It's a very quaint and lovely cafe. I highly recommend the Eat Me Sloppy Joseph and all the burgers are amazing! Also recommend the fruit smoothies, absolutely delicious.

Visited just after it had a refurb, still looks fantastic and the food was great, never had a breakfast there but after many of lunches it didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back for a breakfast!! Love the dirty eggs and bourbon shake!!

Went here whilst on holiday, lovely ambiance and welcome, shown to a lovely table. Found a varied range of food on the menu and ordered some burgers. Was instantly in love with our waitresses tshirt. So I bought 1!!! Food was lovely, not too heavy and dessert was fab too. Very unique little place well worth a visit ☺

Very tasty snacks, eg Halloumi burgers, etc. Tends to be a bread-based selection, but nicely presented, in a friendly funky environment.

After reviewing this café some months ago we decided to try it once again when in Scarborough, hoping for improvement. See my previous review and reviews of other local cafes. The service was good, we were only kept waiting very briefly for our table and the welcome and service was friendly and efficient. We think that the problem is that... More

Eat Me Cafe sits quietly in a backstreet of Scarborough behind the world-famous Stephen Joseph Theatre. We offer a diverse multicultural menu, serving hand-packed burgers, Japanese Ramen, Shetland Pie, Thai Curries.... And much much more. 95% Of our food is made in-house from scratch. Our wide range of cakes changes daily. We serve our own much loved blend of coffee, fair trade certified and expertly roasted by The Heavenly Coffee Company and this can't be found anywhere else. All our food is cooked to order, and at busy times there may be a delay. Our chips are skin on for goodness and seasoned with Eat Me's own blend seasoning. We only use Butter on our breads and please be aware that Our Kitchen contains nuts, both kinds. If you have special dietary requirements please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We always have dairy free butter alternatives and soya milk on request, as well as Gluten Free bread for those sandwich requirements. Also, during the day when busy you may be asked to share a table, you never know who you might meet. We love Yorkshire and Scarborough and were so proud to receive The Good Food Guide Cafe of the Year 2014 award and be in the guide again for 2015. We embrace our quirkiness, bringing a smile to our customers faces from the moment they walk in! Finally if you are in a rush for the theatre, the train or collecting the kids please let us know, we will do all we humanly can!
