A really cosy, snug tea room with brilliant decor. A good range of food on offer. The best place we saw for lunch in Minehead

Stopped off by chance when visiting Minehead and enjoyed the sunshine in the garden. Inside looked very homely and comfortable and even the bathroom was cute! We sampled the fruit cake and scones with clotted cream and jam- a choice of strawberry, raspberry or the more exotic cousin of blueberry! They were both lovely and served with Assam tea and... Minehead highstreet to be quite frank is disgusting. This place however was a diamond in the rough. A lovely little garden out the back that makes you forget the horrible high street. Lots of vegan and gluten free cakes available as well as soy milk for tea and coffee. If I am ever in minehead again I will definitely return... More

We visted minehead and was looking for somewhere dog friendly where we could have breakfast. Preferably somewhere with a seating area outside as our dog is new to eating out. We were made made to feel very welcome the minute we arrived including our dog. The lady bought out some dog biscuits, a blanket for our dog to lie on... More

This is a real gem of a place on Minhead's leafy avenue. Cosy and quirky inside with comfy sofa's and chairs. Or outside a charming courtyard at the rear. My wife and I enjoyed excellent tea and home made cake.

Popped in here on a soggy day in need of a hot drink. We had toasted tea cakes and coffee, both excellent. Lovely tea room, interesting decor and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

We visited friends in Minehead and they suggested we call into this café whilst we were all out walking with their dog and looking for somewhere for lunch. It is a dog friendly café and when we walked in, there were at least 4 tables with other dogs sat on the floor, next to their owners being very well behaved.... More

Would definitely recommend these tea rooms, good selection on the menu, lovely outside space for a sunny afternoon lunch or tea, friendly staff, good value for money.

It was sunnier than forecast, I think, yesterday – Minehead can tend to do it's own thing weather-wise! So glad you could enjoy our sunny tea garden yesterday, and thank you for taking the time to review us. More

Description
The Apple Tree Tearooms is to be found half way up the tree-lined avenue in Minehead. Serving a healthy cooked breakfast, soups, jacket potatoes, toasties, sandwiches and baguettes and salads and Ploughmans. Luscious home-made cream teas, cakes, cookies and slices make this venue a mecca for visitors and locals alike. Boasting a colourful interior and equally delightful al fresco tea garden, this café is ideally suited to families with young children, as children's books, toys and treasure hunts are provided. There is good disabled access and facilities. Oh, and dogs are also most welcome -they are offered dog blankets, treats and water bowls (as long as they are owners are well-behaved).
