Nice little place this, on the avenue/high street. I like my indian restaurants to be unpretentious and worry about the food more than modern decor. There's a good choice of chef's specials here and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

Booked for a table of 10 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The Food was lovely and so were the staff. Even got birthday shots on the owner at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. Well recommended.

Popped in for dinner, chose Goan Xacutti, and was warned it was hot (which it definitely wasn't. Accompanied with pilau rice (small portion, quality mediocre) and peshwari nan (described as stuffed with sultanas (of which there were none) and coconut (who which was meagre) So unlikely to return

Dinner on New Year's Eve, lucky to get a table we thought....... Decor is ok, fairly functional, a little cramped but it's a tiny place. Popadoms were ok although the relishes were quite simple and unsophisticated. 2 of us ordered balti which were fine, my Jalfrezi is the second hottest curry I have ever eaten, second to a Naga. This... More

A fabulous takeaway/eat in curry. Served by very friendly staff. Stop in and have a drink whilst you wait. The young lady that served me was a pleasure to talk to. "I hope you were able to pass your driving test theory. :-) "

A bit of a throw back to the early years of UK Indian restaurants in terms of design. My curry was adequate but unexciting a bit like the welcome. Come on guys its not bad but a friendly smile and a warm welcome would go a long way

Once again, on arrival was warmly welcomed by the young friendly lady. Had the usual lamb tikka starter which did not fail to please. Decided to try their next level of spicy food, so ZZN was the obvious choice. Excellent choice too. Spicy, hot temperatures and a nice warming sensation too. Maybe not for the faint hearted.

Very polite lady took my reservation over the 'phone - always a good start when the restaurant sounds genuinely welcoming and not like they're doing you a favour by being open. From the moment we arrived staff were happy, polite and attentive. The family that were leaving as we arrived were obviously regular customers, as were several others we noticed,... More

The TajMahal is in the main street of Minehead easily reached from the town or the seafront. There is an excellent variety of food from various parts of India and also a selection of British dishes. The food is always well cooked the restaurant is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is not large but is... More
