Lovely little cafe. It was sunny so we were able to sit outside. Cakes were delicious, especially the Victoria sponge. Friendly service, would definitely return.

Pleasant little cafe for coffee. It is worth a visit just for the really excellent Victoria Sandwich.

My family and I had been for a walk in lovely Dunkeld and stopped off for lunch here. It was busy but we got a table . We had soup and sandwiches and it was very nice. The visit was somewhat spoiled by the attitude of the older staff to the one young waitress. Mistakes were being made no doubt... More

On arriving at 'Sill the Beans' we opened the door at about quarter to four. A welcoming greeting - no- but an almost shouted, "Last orders 4 o'clock." Well as all we wanted was a hot drink and piece of cake on our journey north we didn't see that as a problem. What we hadn't counted on was surly, non-interactive... More

Great cakes and good value in a very interesting village. Go for a walk along the river afterwards to use up the calories!

Chosen as dog friendly and we had a baby. Directed immediately to a side room. Unfriendly and not a nice room. Order taken by waitress who was obviously feeling poorly. Confirmed when overheard her making a doctors appointment whist we waited for our order. Fortunately the soup had run out so we cancelled food and left. Hope baby doesn't get... More

A small tea room near Dunkeld Cathedral. Good range of home bakes. We had the soup which was very tasty as was the accompanying soda bread. There was also a listen free option.

We were thrilled to find this lovely quaint little cafe, but that's where the thrill stopped for us. We were a group of two families, 9 altogether, and they got us seated, and took our order for food. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day; she didn't seem like she wanted to be there at all. Before the... More
