We visited this pub after a day at Chatsworth on our way back to Stockport. The meal and service with the food was lovely and not able to be faulted. However, the behaviour of the Duty Manager was irresponsible. They had sold 5 bottles of Moët to an already drunk young man, for £175...opened them all for him and made... More

We travelled here deliberately for the Mexican night, and they'd run out of the burritos - at SEVEN O'CLOCK!!! We settled for naked, I had the pulled pork, of which there was very little pork, my partner had chicken strips, which were terribly dry, like cardboard! The side of onion rings were barely warm. We are Wetherspoon regulars, but tonight... More

The heading says it all. Popped in for lunch and popped out again. In between, we enjoyed some nice value food and a cup of lovely coffee brought to us by happy and helpful staff. Will visit again

Attended for a midweek special. This was a featured chicken night and comprised a choice of chicken dishes rolled up with a drink for just over seven pounds. I have been to this pub a number of times and it is very busy at weekends.During the week it is a lot quieter , which makes a nice change as it... More

Nice location, clean and tidy with good staff. The food was typical of a weatherspoons, which is good for a quick tea. Bit noisy as the rugby was on but I'm Welsh so that's not a complaint.

Six of us have just been to The Wye Bridge House to celebrate my mum and dad's birthdays. We had a selection of main meals which were all nice but then tried to order dessert, only to be told they had run out of several items. Adam was the poor man that had to break this news to us but... More
