I had just arrived in Buxton (hungry and cold) and I overheard some builders planning on visiting this cafe, so I decided to follow them and I'm so glad that I did. The staff mirrored the cafes atmosphere - warm and welcoming, the menu was broad and reasonably priced, I ate a homemade burger and chips (plenty of chips and... More

Came here for lunch with a friend yesterday. Lovely warm welcome as soon as you walked in.. waitresses were very polite. I had the homemade Cajun mixed bean soup which was to die for!! My friend had the full English which was lovely, with proper butchers sausages!! Would definitely recommend and will be back for a breakfast myself!!

Popped in for breakfast there were only 2 other people in both at separate tables, ordered tomatoes on granary toast, it was served on a very thin white piece of barely toasted 'toast', really cheap bread and not granary, the 2 young girls serving were too busy chatting, the one cooking was on her phone talking and laughing for a... My work ordered a buffet for 20 people, 1 vegetarian. We got in touch the week before and everything was sorted for us to collect at 11am on the day of our buffet. Everything was on time and ready for when we collected! It was incredible! Something for everyone with lots of variety! I hadn't even taken pictures yet and... More

Lovely little cafe, i only had the soup which was freshly made today it was very tasty. The guy next to me was having a breafast it smelt and looked lush! The atmosphere was peaceful as I sat and reading my book. The staff were bubbly and friendly, will be coming here for lunch more often.

Terrible service, terrible food, and the staff was unbelievably rude, would not recommend. From the moment we entered to the cafe to the moment we left, we was spoken to like dirt and made to feel so unwelcome

We stayed overnight at a local hotel but did not book breakfast as I looked at the reviews for the tradesman' entrance cafe. The reviews were correct, both my other half and I enjoyed a hearty full English breakfast. Our tea/coffee was served first, very welcoming as it was damp and cold outside, our toast was next and as we... More

Only had a coffee here as already eaten at out hotel but the food I observed looked amazing, the all day breakfast was huge & heartily eaten by the chaps next to us. Another couple had soup which smelled delicious & came with thick chunks of bread & butter. Several people came to the takeaway service at the back of... More
