Really friendly, wholesome cafe. We tried the homity pie from the specials board, which was delicious and came with salad, pots and a very tasty coleslaw. All the food is homemade. The cakes are a sight to behold. Coffee was the proper job. Prices are very reasonable.

This cafe is on the Manifold Cycle trail but is well worth visiting in its own right. The wholemeal pancakes with cheese and bacon are excellent, piping hot, tasty, loads of cheese and crispy bacon. The wide selection of home made cakes are hard to resist, there's so much choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great cafe tucked away in Hulme End near Hartington & just a few miles from Buxton. The Cheese & home made chutney butties are grand, nice tasty bread hand cut. The welcome & service are great, spotless clean.

Dropped in here with a bunch of cyclist and was treated to an excellent cake and cup of coffee at reasonable prices. Service was efficient and friendly and I was offered a free top up of coffee.

I was only vaguely aware of the Manifold Valley. It was only when my daughter, Emma, took a wrong turning several weeks ago on a trip to visit the John Smedley woollen mill in Derbyshire, we found ourselves in this corner of hidden England I vowed to return to explore its delights. On a day out less than an hour's... More

After along walk along the beautiful Manifold Way we came to Hulme End and a much needed cup of coffee was required. There a numerous homemade cakes, very different flavours which made the choice very difficult. The orange and almond sponge was delicious. All served by a very friendly and knowledgable lady who gave us tips on other walks and... More

As previous recent contributor we also called here after an eight mile walk and were delighted with the lovely food on offer, including vegetarian choices and the large selection of cakes (all home made). We sat outside on a lovely sunny morning and service was friendly and fast. Will definitely call again and would highly recommend a visit if you... More

After an eight mile walk the T Junction provided the warm welcome we needed. Cream tea and rocky road. Don't miss rhubarb cheesecake which is not to be missed. Thank you Rebecca for your hospitality.

Stopped here for tea and cake while walking the Manifold Way, along the line of the old Leek and Manifold Light Railway. The tea is served in a proper china pot and tea cups, as you would expect in Staffordshire, and the cakes are heavenly, especially the victoria sponge. The service is quick and friendly and there is a lot... More
