Great pub! Traditional, friendly and welcoming on a cold November afternoon! Ordered from the pub menu a traditional pub meal as requested! Wonderful pub thank you!

If you want good food and you are stating at the Wroxton Hotel I would advise you eat there, the White Horse is over priced with rubbish food.

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your visit to my pub and am somewhat surprised that you should compare it to the nearby hotel, which is considerably more expensive. All the prices for the food you had are clearly displayed in the menu as was the price of the glass of wine that your partner had. We also have a... More

Went for a meal early evening and the pub was already full, there was a lack of staff, but a lovely barmaid/waitress called Louise had the situation under control and had a lovely smile! I had lasagne with salad and garlic bread - a nice big portion & yummy. My husband wanted Liver & bacon which was on the menu... More

We were overnighting in Wroxton en route to Southampton and wanted a simple evening meal. Previous reviewers recommended the White Horse Inn. My husband must eat only gluten free food and the landlady, who is also the cook, was able to tell him about every ingredient in every dish she cooked. It was good wholesome food and we enjoyed our... More

The imfamus South Yorkshire luncheon four ventured SOUTH. We had just a light bit and drinks so can't comment on the main menu, but it looked OK with almost northern prices.

I went here with my boyfriend and his brother and we had a really lovely meal. The only drawback but was my risotto was a little on the small side but I made up for that with dessert!

We were only in the area for a week and visited twice. Traditional meals, well cooked and tasty. Not over priced and large portions. We were made to feel very well come and everyone was very friendly. Just a shame we live so far away

After 200 mile ride on the way to a bikers weekend at Long Marsden. More than welcoming to are bunch of scruffy weary bikers. Thought I'd go for something light so ordered a ploughman's. Worth every penny struggle to finish proper off the bone ham and lovely cheese. Will use again on next year's ride up.
