This was about the best restaurant in Banbury, but sadly it closed some months ago, it is now a pancake house.

Service very slow. Asked to be seated on another table but waitress was not helpful. Starter was awful. Then main course was very basic and no taste. Cost for food was not reasonable.
Had several lunches at Veritas and without fail have never been disappointed. Tasty food, excellent wine list and friendly, efficient staff.

A very enjoyable evening. Good food, relaxed atmosphere & good value for money. Can recommend the cheese board. Will certainly be back next time we are in Banbury.

I have been a couple of times to this restaurant at lunchtime with my husband, we have found the choice of menu excellent and the food of a very high standard, with good presentation and value for money.
