Set in pretty village of Tintinhull close to lovely National Trust garden. Lots of room in the big garden and nice menu. Freehouse with good selection of interesting beer. Old building but not as much character as some pubs.

Hi Susan Sorry about the issue with not enough vegetables. This should never happen as our policy is to provide more vegetables if requested and to provide enough to satisfy the customers needs. I will make sure that all of our serving staff understand this...More

Firstly I want to say that the service here was excellent, so friendly and helpful. It’s just a real shame that the food we had didn’t match that. We were a bit concerned when it was very busy and the food took less than 5...More

Great staff, brilliant food and pleasant surroundings. Had a tasty calamari starter, wild mushroom ravioli and shared a cheese board. Will be back!

The C&V don't do a carvery as such. Usually have a roast on the menu, but can't guarantee this. Last time I had one it was just under £13.
