Was informed it was a dog friendly pub. Was put round a corner away from the main bar. The service was virtually non existent and the food typically poor pub food of the standard that gives British pubs a bad name. Definitely will not be returning.

Wide selection available from menu and specials board and great portion size, well cooked and nicely presented by friendly staff. Just try it. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to eat book two nights in a row as really lovely food and dog friendly. Food choose very wide and size of the meal so if smaller portion needed it's there. The place was really Busy so I would suggest that you book if you want a table with the dog . Will definitely go again when I... More

Ate here on a cold Saturday afternoon after a lovely walk in the forest, roaring open fires, friendly staff and great pub grub! Would recommend.

We had to book here because it was full on our first visit, the portions are a bit too large, tasty homemade food, good choice of drinks

Had another good meal, we have been here a few times when visiting the area. We booked table in advance as it's so popular. Staff friendly, plenty of menu choices,a list of specials available.

Went here at the weekend as we were down for a friend's wedding. We had a 2 course meal which was lovely I had whitebait and then salmon with new potatoes and veg. My husband also had whitebait and then a ribeye steak with fries and veg.had a lovely bottle of shirts to complement the meal.

Never fails to deliver on taste and quality. One of our favourite eateries anywhere. Could do with a couple more deserts that cater for those that don't want alcohol, but that's just being picky because it's all good otherwise.
