Lovely matching décor with nice quality furniture and fittings, and real napkins, rather than paper serviettes compliment the great food. It was a lovely day so we chose to eat lunch in the garden. The staff were very friendly, service fast and efficient. Everything flawless. The only downside, and probably very unusual, was a group of small children running amok... More

The staff were extremely helpful and understanding for the needs of the requirements of our small group. Everyone enjoyed the food enormously, and believe me thats not easy with my family! The fish was cooked to perfection.

Popped in for a drink on Easter Saturday evening and decided to eat in the beer garden. Fantastic fish and chips, cheeseburger, seabass and homemade curried parsnip soup. Great atmosphere and highly recommended.

A most fantastic meal. The food was wonderful on each course. Presented beautifully. The waiting staff never stopped and everyone was served with the same, efficient, friendly service. It really was a very special meal. The wine was perfectly chilled. Would not have been able to fault any part of the evening if I tried.

Popped in for a drink on a sunny Saturday afternoon, it was busy because of the weather and there was limited staff behind the bar which meant waiting a while to be served. Nice big beer garden and dogs are welcome, we will pop by again soon.

24 people gathered for coffee and ordered their lunch. We set off on our walk and phoned the Mayflower when we were 15 minutes away. The food was due to be served at 1.00 and so it was. The whole event was very well organised by the staff, providing individual service wth a smile! The food was very good too!... More

My daughters' took me here for Mother's Day dinner. Lovely setting, lovely interior and the staff were very friendly and helpful- if you don't count the fact they forgot one of the desserts! The food was very nice, not huge amounts but that suits me as I don't have a huge appetite but may have been a little meagre for... More
